The Role

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing and BD Executive. As we embark on several key projects and ramp up our BD activities to support our ambitious growth strategy, we’re looking for someone who can bring energy and expertise to our team. If you have a minimum of two years' experience in professional services and are comfortable working across marketing and BD, we’d love to hear from you. Your focus will vary week to week and typical responsibilities will sit across marketing and BD.

Key responsibilities

Marketing communications

  • Produce and maintain digital content for the website and social media platforms
  • Update lawyer profiles and other marketing collateral
  • Deliver monthly campaign metrics
  • Assist in drafting press releases and provide PR support
  • Support the Marketing Communications Manager in preparing and managing award submissions
  • Assist in planning and executing webinars and seminars, managing logistics, invitations and post-event follow up, working alongside the Events Executive
  • Create client mailings using the firm’s eMarketing software
  • Produce and maintain content on the intranet platform, ensuring relevance and accuracy
  • Support the delivery and content updates of the new website

 

Business development (BD)

  • Prepare pitch materials and other client-facing credentials
  • Compile key RFP information
  • Manage the pitch Q&A database and the pitch index, ensuring it is current and reflective of pitch outcomes
  • Update and maintain the master experience database
  • Assist in the legal directories process and manage the testimonial database
  • Support the development of a new pitching and credentials system
  • Support the key autumn campaigns across content generation, targeting and follow-up
  • Research and support on key client management and client listening programmes, other clients, targets, and competitors
  • Maintain and improve use of the CRM system, including mailing lists, relationships and updates
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree-educated (non-graduates with previous marketing/BD experience will be considered).
  • A minimum of two years’ previous experience in marketing/BD at either a law firm or other similar professional services is essential
  • Good formatting skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft package
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
